How it works
A clear process, with you deciding at every step.
We start with your description and introduce you to a relevant specialist partner with your permission. The partner assesses the opportunity independently. You decide what happens next.
Email your description
Tell us what your business does, which systems you use and how far back your records go. A description is enough to request an introduction.
YouIdentify a relevant partner
We use your description to look for a specialist data licensing partner that may be able to assess your records. If we cannot identify a suitable route, we will tell you.

Questions about the process
Common questions
Do you work with one broker or several?
We work with a range of specialist licensing partners. The introduction we suggest depends on your business description and the records you hold.
What will our team need to do?
Start by emailing a short description of the business, its systems and its records. If you choose to proceed after an introduction, the partner explains what an assessment would involve before any records are shared.
Who sees our records?
Astris starts with your description. We share details with a partner only with your permission. Before sharing records, agree confidentiality protections, scope and handling in writing with the partner.
When is payment made?
Any payment depends on a license being agreed and on its terms. The specialist partner explains any proposal, including when and how payment would be made, before you decide whether to sign.
Can we stop at any point?
You choose whether to accept an introduction and whether to proceed with an assessment. No license is agreed without your signature.
Where do legal and technical questions go?
The specialist partner handles questions about its assessment and any proposed license. Involve your own legal adviser before signing an agreement.
